what a year 2011 was!

Posted by anonymous on December 22, 2011 at 10:05 AM Comments comments (1)

Hey guys,

this is my last update before New Year. I’m at the airport on my way to Iran to visit my father and sister. Tomorrow is the first anniversary since my mother passed away last year on the 23rd of December. I’m very glad that I have the chance to be with my father and sister on this very special day for us.

My mother’s passing away made the 2011 a very special year for me and family. Normally I talked about my career and activities around the badminton court when I update my facebook page but I would like to dedicate my last update of the year to my mother and father.  Losing my mother has been very tough for us but at the same time it has thought us a lot about life.

Having your parents around is the biggest luxury and nothing can replace their present and love. My mother and father have played a huge role in my life. Even though she has left us physically but there has not been a day since last year, which I have not been thinking about my mother and all the things she thought me and she did for me.

My sister and I are very lucky to still have our father with us. Without a doubt he is one of the strongest people that I know and admire him for who he is. Without a doubt I have everything in my life because of my mother and father. they have always been there for me and my sister and can't imagine a parent being more selfless than my mother and father.

I also would like to use this opportunity to thank all of you, our friends and family members, who supported me and my family during the difficult times from the very first day that my mother was struggling with cancer. I am sure my mother is still with us and her love is still blessing our family.

As you might remember I dedicated a video to my mother after she passed away because it was impossible for me to express how I felt about her leaving us. you can watch the video on the front page of my website.

Once again I appreciate all the support.

Hey guys,

Hope you are fine. It's time again for yet another Olympic qualifing tournament for me. right now I'm in Melbourn, Australia to participate at the 2011 Li-ning Altona international. Before coming to Australia I was in China for about 10 days to represent the badminton players from all over the world at the BWF Council meetings. It was a good opportunity for me to get some very good training as well.

The tournament here in Australia will start on Friday and I feel ready and very motivated. also I have one more news for you. Last week, during my stay in China I signed a contract with Li-Ning as my new sponsor for my equipments until Olympic Games. I appreciate Li-Ning interest and confident in my career and road to 2012 Olympic Games.

The Olympic race has begun

Hello everybody,

I’m writing this update from my Hotel room in Suva in Fiji, where I’m playing my first tournament for the Olympic qualification.

The Olympic qualification has started from this week and will go on until the first week of May 2012.

This is how The qualification for Olympic works:

During this 1 year period (from now until May 2012), players can play as many tournaments as they like but only their top 10 result will count for their world ranking.(of course everybody plays much more than 10 tournaments to give the best chance to themselves to have their own top 10 result).

The world ranking of the first week of May 2012 will determine who has qualified for the 2012 London Olympic Games. Only the top 38 players in Men’s Single in the World Ranking will qualify for Olympic but each nation can only have limited number of players at the Olympic.

I choose Fiji as my first tournament; from here I will go directly to Morocco and will play the Moroccan Open. Then I go back to Denmark for 3 days for a bit of rest and of course some training. After this small break at home I will head to Madrid for the Spanish Open.

I will have an extremely busy tournament schedule like all the other players who have committed themselves for the Olympic qualification race.

I am very motivated and exited about the Olympic qualification. I feel in a good shape and have no serious injury (which is always a good thing before playing a lot of tournaments). As you know, I was at the Beijing Olympic and that has been the highest point of my career so far. But I really would like to be at the London Olympic as well and will do my very best to make it happen. I need to make sure that I will keep my level during this very busy period by training and taking care of my body at the tournaments.

I will keep you posted with my result. You will be able to see more updates especially on my facebook page.

Here you can find the link for the draw for the Fiji Open.

I would like to thank all of you for your support.

By the way, today it's my biorthday. I have got lots of emailes and messages from you guys (friend , family and my fans around the world). I would like to thank all of you for sending these kind messages.

Wish you all the best

Keep your finger cross for me :-)

update

Hello everybody,

Hope you are doing well. I'm sorry for not updating my blog for a while. the last couple of months has been very busy for me with focusing on my final preparation for the 2012 Olympic qualification as well as playing the last team matches with my club Holbæk in Denmark.

It has been a very busy and tough season for me due to heavy load of training - team matches and of course the lost of my mother. up to these day I still can't believe my mother has passed away; however i know she is still with me and her love and support will always be with me. I know I can still keep smile on her face with my actions. her fighting spirit and posetive mentality will always be in my mind. it has been a new motivation for me to keep fighting no matter how hard life can be sometimes.

I also would like to thank all of you for your support during these difficult time for me and my family.

about my tournaments, the last couple of weeks I have been doing quite well. I made the final in Uganda international in March, where I beated players from Italy, Turkey, South Africa and lost to good friend of main in final, Jan Frolich from Czech Republic.

I also played the NewZealand and Australia Open. these tournaments were very strong and in both tournaments I made it to the second round but I'm happy with my performance and how I played.

at the moment I'm doing my final preparation for Olympic qualification, which will start from first week of May. I am in very good physical shape, I feel good with my game and I look forward to the Olympic qualification year with lots of tournaments.

once again I would like to thank all of you for your support. your support means a lot to me and gives me a lot of motivation.

by the way, I update my facebook page much more often. so please feel free to join my facebook page if you would like to be more up to date with my performance and tournaments during the Olympic qualification.

all the best

Hey everybody,

It has been long time since last time that I updated my blog.

Today, I had a very important team match with my Danish Club(Holbæk), we won 9:4 thanks to everybody's effort in the club. It was a very close match and I'm very proud of my team-mates for their effort on and off court today.

On Monday I'll go to Germany to compete at the 2011 German Open.it's a BWF Gold Grand Prix  tournament. Some of the very best players like Lin Dan and Chen Jin (the 2010 World Champion) are competing at this tournament .

On Wednesday, I'll play against the world nr.31 and the France nr.1 player, Brice Leverdez . I have played him once 3 years ago during the 2008 Olympic Qualification. Unfortunately I lost that match in Australia but I can tell you I'm looking forward to play against him again. I'm feeling on top of my game and looking forward to this challenge and see how I will preforme on court in Germany.

Hello everybody,

Final result from South Africa

Posted by anonymous on November 28, 2010 at 11:57 AM Comments comments (0)

hello every body,

I'm writting this from the airport in Johanessburg.I have some great news.I won the tournament in South Africa by beating the nr.1 from Turkey(Murat Sen)in the final.it was a tough match as he was trying to play very aggresive but my patience paied off and I won 21:9-21:16.

it a great feeling to win a tournament especially because I played very well and stable through out the whole tournament.

I didn't give much away in any of my matches. I had a good challenge in the quarter final, when I had to play Giovani Traner from Italy and he really pushed me in the second set but I stayed calm and focus and that was the key point for me in all the matches.

next stop will be Turkey International in 3 weeks time. for now I'll go back to Denmark and prepare my self for new challenges.

thanks for the support.

all the best.
